Who can participate in PRRO races?

Any athlete may participate in the Circuit. For information on qualifying requirements and/or invitations to specific races, contact the appropriate invited athlete coordinator.

What are the rules to win the Circuit bonus?

Win one of the first five circuit races during the current circuit year--2015 Utica Boilermaker, 2015 EQT Pittsburgh Ten Miler, 2016 World's Best 10K, 2016 Credit Union Cherry Blossom, 2016 Lilac Bloomsday Run, --PLUS the Championship race at 2016 Utica Boilermaker, and you win the Circuit Purse (this is split if a male and female win it in the same year). When the purse is won, it resets the following year to $10,000. Each year it is not won, it grows by $5,000.

PRRO prize money and bonus rules

"Circuit Event Winner Bonuses" Replace "Bump-up Bonuses"
The winners of each individual PRRO Circuit event will receive a $1,500 bonus if they compete in the PRRO championship and place in the open prize money. The Event Winner Bonuses are cumulative (i.e. If an athlete wins two circuit events, he or she would be eligible for a $3,000 Event Winner Bonus at the Championship). These bonuses are paid in addition to any prize money won at the PRRO Championship.

PRRO Championship Prize Money Changes
If the male and female winners of the PRRO Championship have not won any of the previous events on that year's circuit, they will win $2,500 as the PRRO Circuit Champions in addition to the prize money offered by the Championship event. If the male and female winners of the PRRO Championship have won any of any previous PRRO Circuit events, he or she will win the $10,000 circuit bonus. (This bonus is split if a male and female winner of a previous PRRO circuit event both win the PRRO Championship.)
